Standard CRC Challenge Definitions
The following challenge types use CRC's standard definitions. See the Glossary for full details.
Damageless:
- Damage is any loss of your character’s current health, regardless of the source.
- Changes to maximum health are not damage, even if they also change current health or later restore.
Deathless:
- A death is when your character fails in a way that resets progress, typically with a penalty like losing lives, items, or other resources.
Flawless:
- Damageless, Deathless, Glitchless

Hitless:
- A hit is when an NPC or dynamic object makes contact with your character's hurtbox, causing damage or hard crowd control (Hard CC).
- Player-initiated actions that cause damage or movement are NOT hits.
Run Submission Requirements
- Full, unedited video proof is required
- Video and Audio must be clearly visible and audible.
These defaults apply while game-specific rules are under community review.
These rules have been proposed by the community and are under review. They will become official when this game moves to Active status.
- The video must start from the game’s main menu.
- The final results screen shown after the credits must be included in the video, as it displays the final time, number of saves, ranking and scenario.
- Quick shot is allowed.
- Enabling “Quick Turn,” “Tactical Reload,” or “Force Auto Aim” on the PC version of the game is NOT allowed. Click here for more info.
- Cosmetic modifications (such as character skins) are allowed as long as they do not affect gameplay and do not include any inappropriate or explicit (NSFW) content.
- Saving is only allowed using the game’s built-in save system. External tools or programs (such as trainers or debug menus) are not allowed. Save files may only be created in case of a crash, and only if the run is being streamed.
- Runs that are not streamed must be completed in a single session, with no saves at all.
- Hard/Nightmare difficulty modes are exclusive to the PC and Dreamcast versions of the game.
